Poo Park
26 September 2006
One of my pet hates is dog crap. In my shoe tread, in the stroller tread, on sporting fields, in the parks where children play, dog crap, dog crap go away! I guess the crap issue comes down to repsonsible ownership, if your dog craps in a public place, you are responsible, so you better pick it up fucker!
These pics were taken at Rowland Reserve in Bayview. A large unleashed exercise area for our four legged friends. The reserve is on the water, has plenty of space, poo bins galore... nice. Dogs of all shapes and sizes, tongues lolling, smiles bared, enjoying the freedom to run, roll in stinky stuff, eat other dog's crap and splash in the water.
The only real downside to the place, is that it reeks of dog shit, but you get that.

Leap of faith, (or, it really is quite picturesque!)
20 September 2006
Felt a bit lost yesterday and I found myself here, for the first time ever. I used to drive past the Baha'i Temple each workday for years. It still flits into my mind often as I catch a glimpse of it's whiteness in the distance. But, I was drawn there yesterday... and for a short time I did find hope and peace.

Sailor's Warning
14 September 2006
Wispy, long, clouds illuminated by the first rays of this morning's sunrise, turning delicate pink, so striking against the powder blue sky.
The half-moon draped in these pink wispy clouds.
Possums fucking in the middle of the road, under the light of the silvery half-moon.
A magnificent sunrise all blue, purple, pink and golden - fucking breathtaking.
The "A hard man is a good thing to find!" van in beach carpark, glowing in the early morning golden hour (and the two hot surfers that emerged from it!).
And that golden light, that gently touched everything in my path, bringing it all to life, making the morning become electric.
Did not take the fucking camera this morning, as wanted to concentrate on running without pause, so I missed all these things on this awesome pink sky morning... goddammit!

Katandra
06 September 2006
Walked around Katandra Bushland Sanctuary last weekend. It's a great time of year for flowering things, not so great for nasty, little, bastard ticks. I guess sometimes to experience beauty, you gotta take some pain.
