it's comforting in a way to know that, no matter how long i live, i will always be younger than something.
Rich, I think of them as silent witnesses to history... and that sounds like a total wank, but I still wrote it.
Nice shot, much more difficult than it looks too.
I've never taken one like that that I have liked, usually too dark to see the detail in the holes or so light the top looks washed out. You've got it right though.
