Neptune's Necklace

15 November 2006

neptune's beadsI used to play with Neptune's Necklace (or Beads) as a kid, squeezing the little segments of fresh-out-of-the-sea weed, until they squirted salty water in my brother's face. I love how it looks when it dries, and make pictures on the white sand with shrivelled, black pieces of it.

We always used to make them into 'dreadies' for hair on our sand-men... lol!

hat and a good handful of this stuff wet makes for one hell of a 'waterbomb'! But no sand okay?!

lol ;-)

B: We both had heaps of fun near the ocean as kids didn't we?

MS: Creepy little insect legs, with their little sticky, spikey, clinging hooks that get caught in your clothes, so that when you brush the little fuckers off, more often then not, you are left with a creepy little insect leg or two...
