It's trolley mating season. I was lucky enough to snap some of the delicate creatures in the wetlands at Warriewood, an area to which the shopping trolley (Metallum fillitupis) is endemic. Males die after mating, their shiny forms glistening, then rusting, in the waters which from which they once sprang voraciously.
