When I saw this couple on the beach this morning, I couldn't stop myself from taking a photo. In that scene I imagined a lifetime of shared moments... of togetherness, and that is an achievement and a half in my books. For all I know the reality may be that they had lusted after each other at lawn-bowls for a decade, before her first husband finally fell off his perch last winter, and they meet each Tuesday for a fuck and some shared sunshine.

So true. We tend to assume that old couples have been together forever. Sweet pic nonetheless.
I like the lust>perch>Tuesdays theory.
