When I saw this couple on the beach this morning, I couldn't stop myself from taking a photo. In that scene I imagined a lifetime of shared moments... of togetherness, and that is an achievement and a half in my books. For all I know the reality may be that they had lusted after each other at lawn-bowls for a decade, before her first husband finally fell off his perch last winter, and they meet each Tuesday for a fuck and some shared sunshine.

Surf, sun, sand. Men of all shapes and sizes, united by the creep of their budgie smugglers, as they roll and wedge up each heaving arse. Beautiful timber boats, skillfully controlled, yet still at the mercy of the last wave in the set.
