Plump, fleshy, green leaves of Pig Face and the spikey, silvery, dryness of Spinifex. I love adaptation to harsh conditions, in all its varied forms.I'm sipping black coffee, while watching the rain falling from safe inside my warm dwelling. I'm very tempted to go for a long walk in the gentle pitter patter and find myself soaked to the bone. I'll come home shivering, run a hot bath and soak myself warm. The temptation is too much.
